While most people associate bright shades of red with Ferrari, this stunning 2019 488 Pista shows that the brand’s supercars can look even better when painted blue.
The 488 Pista in question is currently up for auction through Collecting Cars and was ordered through the automaker’s special Atelier process. Through this personalization programme, the original owner was able to order the car in Blu Elettrico, a gorgeous color that has been contrasted with white and grey painted racing stripes.

Elsewhere, the car has been optioned with carbon fiber front flaps and side splitters, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber side skirts and vents, and Scuderia Shields on the front quarter panels. Rounding out the exterior look at 20-inch 10-spoke wheels with Giallo brake calipers and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The listing notes that the blue paintwork has been wrapped in paint protection film.
The interior of this 488 Pista is also quite special. Many of the interior surfaces are clad in plush Alcantara while there are also a host of carbon fiber accents found throughout. Blue stripes are also found on the seat centers and the supercar has Ferrari’s available carbon-fiber racing seats.
The 488 Pista left the factory with a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 churning out 710 hp through the rear wheels and thanks to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.85 seconds and this car has only been driven 2,353 miles.
When sales of the 488 Pista first started in the UK, prices started at a touch over £252,000 ($311,000) and with three days left in the auction, bidding had already exceeded that mark. A browse through the British classifieds shows that most 488 Pista models are commanding over £320,000 ($395,000).
