No, you are not looking at a Lamborghini Reventon – this is actually a 1990 Toyota Supra that has been transformed to resemble one of Lamborghini’s most iconic limited-run models.

This utterly bizarre Supra has been listed up for sale through Marktplaats in the Netherlands and has a €19,950 ($21,103) asking price. That’s quite a lot of money for a 1990 Supra but a previous owner obviously spent a lot of time and money to make it look like a Reventon.

First is the paint. Much like the real Reventon, this Supra has a stealthy matte grey finish, although we’re willing to bet it’s not actually the same paint that Lamborghini used. The exterior of the Toyota has then been adorned in an outlandish bodykit that’s supposed to mimic the Reventon although as is so often the case with replicas like this, the proportions are all out of wack.

Visible at the front is an aggressive new bumper with large air intakes and angular headlights. The Supra also has a couple of small air intakes on the hood. Elsewhere, there are a set of distinctive silver and black wheels and sides that have also been transformed with new panels and skirts. The rear half of the Toyota is particularly bizarre as there isn’t an engine behind the cabin like the Lamborghini but that didn’t stop the builder from extending the rear and crafting a fake engine cover.

It doesn’t appear as though any significant mechanical modifications have been made to the car. As such, it continues to feature the original 3.0-liter six-cylinder pumping out 238 hp and coupled to a manual transmission.
