Seat Tarraco SUV Spills The Beans On Its Interior

Seat may be tight lipped when it comes to the Tarraco, but now we get the chance to step inside its cabin for the first time.

The images, shared by MQB-Coding, reveal a minimalistic layout inside with a sizeable and tablet-like infotainment system dominating the dashboard.

The screen also features two rows of shortcut buttons on each side and is joined by a dual-zone automatic climate control, which appears to be identical to the one in the smaller Ateca. Multi-function steering wheel, drive-mode selector, and leather seats are found in the cabin as well, as well as an automatic transmission in the particular car.

On the outside, the new Seat Tarraco has a unique front end, whereas the rear features LED taillights, joined together by a light strip, as revealed by a couple of leaked images, earlier this week. The SUV’s profile, on the other hand, looks pretty much like the VW Tiguan Allspace, which is understandable, since both vehicles along with the Skoda Kodiaq, share the same architecture.

The engine family is believed to be kept simple and to include a couple of petrol TSI units and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI diesel. Seat could expand the range with a PHEV at a later date, but nothing’s known about it so far.

Order books for the brand’s Nissan X-Trail and Hyundai Santa Fe challenger will open later this year, but prior to that, it might be displayed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
