Callaway has just launched a series of upgrade packages for the latest 2021-2022 pickup truck and SUV models from the General Motors stable, giving each of them far more power than standard.
All upgraded models from Callaway make use of its GenThree supercharging systems that combine large displacement Eaton TVS rotor pack assemblies with Callaway’s proprierty supercharger housing and intercooling system. The company has also developed new intake and exhaust systems for the 2021-2022 models, meaning those equipped with GM’s 5.3-liter V8 are good for 520 hp while those with the 6.2-liter V8 now muster up 602 hp.

The updated Callaway range consists of the 2022-2023 Silverado SC520 and Silverado SC602, the 2022-2023 Sierra SC520 and Sierra SC602, the 2021-2023 Suburban SC520 and Suburban SC602, the 2021-2023 Tahoe SC520 and Tahoe SC602, the 2021-2023 Yukon/Yukon XL SC520 and Yukon/Yukon XL SC602, and last but not least, the 2021-2023 Escalade SC602.
The range of standard and optional parts varies depending on each model, although all come standard with the complete supercharging kit as well as aluminum door sill inserts, Callaway key medallions, chrome exterior Callaway badging, a dash-mounted build authentication plaque, a build authentication plaque under the hood, and an Authenticity Documentation Package from Callaway.
Interestingly, Callaway says that while its upgrade packages deliver up to 182 hp and 100 lb-ft (136 Nm) of torque more than the standard GM models, “fuel mileage is practically unchanged from stock.” Callaway says this has been achieved because the supercharger’s internal bypass mechanism diverts the inlet air flow path during idle, low-load cruising, and deceleration, allowing the supercharger rotors to spin freely.
The engine control components and electronic powertrain calibration across all of these 2021-2023 Callaway models are 50-state emissions compliant and all come with 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranties.
