Bugatti has released one final teaser of the eye-catching new vehicle it will present at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week.

Whereas the first teaser released earlier in the week showcased the LED headlights of the model, this brief clip shared to Twitter offers us a glimpse of its rear end, in particular the LED taillights.

The lights take the shape of a sideways V and slow seamlessly into an illuminated Bugatti badge in the center of the rear fascia. It appears to be quite a radical look and is very different from any other current Bugatti model.

It is a similar story at the front end. The aforementioned teaser of the LED headlights showed that they too will be completely unique from other Bugatti models and are made up of four horizontal LED strips sitting on the pronounced front quarter panels.

While Bugatti itself is remaining quiet on the car’s details, this teaser is entitled ‘The Last Of Its Kind.’ This may indicate that the model set to be showcased on August 19 during Monterey Car Week will be Bugatti’s last W16-powered model that doesn’t use some form of electrification, as its future models co-developed with Rimac will.

If this is the case, then we suspect that the car in question will be based around the Bugatti Chiron and could be similar in philosophy to the limited-run Divo, meaning its powertrain could be shared with the Chiron but it may feature distinctive bodywork. We think it’s safe to assume that if the car is indeed the last W16-powered Bugatti without electrification, Bugatti will likely produce just a handful of examples for its most prolific and loyal clients.
