Rockstar Games today unveiled the latest addition to the fleet of cars in Grand Theft Auto V. Called the Declasse Vigero ZX, the studio calls it a muscle car, but it looks more like a pony car. In fact, to be precise, it’s stunningly similarly to the real life Chevrolet Camaro.

Rockstar calls the Vigero ZX “a hunk of muscle that would make the buffest gym bros and lamest ego lifters cry.” Sounds about right, and it features a number of familiar design elements.

The headlights, for starters, are the spitting image of those found on the real life 2022 Chevrolet Camaro, and it features a split grille much like the pony car, albeit the hexagonal shape of the lower element is more reminiscent of a slightly earlier model such as the 2018 ZL1 1LE.

Indeed, once the vehicle is modified, it quickly gains winglets and splitters that make it look even more like that model. The side profile, meanwhile, and the taillights are all also dead ringers for the real car.

Declasse: “Having Fallen In Social Class”

Interestingly, the studio seems to be insulting the car as it recreates it by associating it with the brand “Declasse,” a word which means “having fallen in social class.” Not sure how Chevy will feel about all of this, but its legal department is pretty chill, right?

Available for sale within the game through the Southern San Andreas Super Autos site, the car can be test driven before being bought. Upgrades can be installed at Hao’s Special Works at the LS Car Meet.
