The driver of a Ford Falcon wagon in Australia has caught the attention of local media outlets for sharing footage online of them drifting down local roads.
The clip was filmed throughout the Gold Coast, one of the country’s most famous beachside cities, in wet conditions and shows the driver taking over the streets, likely in an attempt to get some clout on social media.
In the first clip, the driver takes a leaf out of Ken Block’s playbook and powerslides the Ford into a row of garbage bins neatly positioned on the side of the road. Other clips show the Falcon sliding from side to side along two- and three-lane roads in the city and in the process, the driver runs a series of red lights and breaks countless driving laws.

While many locals will be shocked at seeing this footage, not everyone commenting on the Facebook post feels the same way. In fact, one individual says the driver should be commended for their car control.
“Quite frankly that is clearly precision driving, they’re to be commended on such great control in the wet and the rest of you should aspire to be this good of a driver,” they wrote.
There were others that shared similar sentiments, with another person adding, “Looks like great car control to me. More skilled than most numpties that have been given licenses.”
“Man!!!! He has awesome control of that wagon!” another wrote. “Kids got skills. Sorry… oops… Yes very very stupid and dangerous!! Now hire him for stunt driving.”
There’s no doubt that driving like this, particularly on wet roads, requires a lot of skill and car control. However, that doesn’t mean that performing those stunts on public roads, instead of a track, is a good idea.
