Hyundai Australia has confirmed that 180 examples of the special i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition will be available to local customers.

The South Korean car manufacturer is building just 800 examples of the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition for the global market and build numbers 620 through to 799 will be allocated to Australia.

The special model builds upon the i30 N Premium with Sunroof and adds a number of features. These include the fitment of exclusive 19-inch forged alloy wheels with a bronze finish, black Hyundai badging, a special bronze badge on the front quarter panels with the coordinates of Hyundai’s Nurburging Test Center, and exclusive Drive-N decals along the sides of the hot hatch.

Hyundai’s upgrades continue into the cabin of the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition and include Alcantara on the steering wheel, gear lever, armrest, and handbrake, as opposed to leather like all other i30 N models. Additionally, the standard Performance Blue accents have been replaced with red trimmings, including the N buttons on the steering wheel as well as the inserts and stitching on the seats. Exclusive floor mats have also been developed for the car.

Rounding out the modifications is an individually-numbered plaque on the center console. Owners also receive a welcome box with two sets of keys and a Drive-N key ring. Last but not least is a Manual Speed Limit Assist system that can be activated by holding the cruise control button and setting a speed. When the set speed is reached, the car will limit engine power to prevent the driver from exceeding this limit.

Hyundai Australia will offer the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition in six-speed manual and eight-speed dual-clutch variants. The manual is priced at AU$53,200 ($33,308), while the eight-speed will set back shoppers AU$56,200 ($35,186).
