The C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette doesn’t have the flashy supercar looks of the C8 model but it remains a very good sports car and a lovely Grand Sport example has just come across our radar.

The Chevy Corvette Grand Sport is arguably the sweet spot of the C7 range and this car is particularly bold thanks to the Black Rose Metallic paint adorning the exterior. It is being sold with a clean Carfax report and a clean Nebraska title and could prove to be the perfect car for anyone looking to pick up the keys to a ‘Vette.

Powering the Corvette Grand Sport is a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated LT1 V8 pumping out 460 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. This engine sends power to the rear wheels courtesy of a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. As part of the Grand Sport package, a differential cooler also came standard.

This Corvette’s original owner ordered it in 2LT guise with the Z07 Ultimate Performance package. It also features Magnetic Ride Control, carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, a carbon fiber hood, and a set of 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Forged One Competition wheels.

Found in the cabin of the sports car is Kalahari leather-appointed heated and ventilated bucket seats. Other features include a Bose 10-speaker surround sound system, a MyLink infotainment system, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

With an original MSRP of $83,180, the car could prove to be quite a bargain depending on what it sells for. It was sold on Bring a Trailer back in March and fetched $60,500. It currently has ~23,000 miles (~37,000 km) on the clock.
