The SEMA Show kicks off next week and Optima Batteries is previewing an overlanding-focused Rivian R1T that will debut at the event.

The company is keeping details under wraps, but the teaser image shows the truck will be equipped with a heavy duty front bumper, auxiliary lights, and bronze wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.

Elsewhere, the truck sports rock rails, a roof rack, and a bedside rack that holds traction boards. We can also see a swing-out rear bumper with jerry cans as well as a full-size spare tire.

Since finding a charge in the middle of nowhere is an almost impossible task, the truck will be accompanied by an Optima Power Station that is built on a Turtleback trailer. It’s being billed as a “Swiss army knife for EV overlanders” as it promises to give them “unprecedented range capabilities.”

In particular, the power station has a Level 2 charger and “enough energy storage to power up your EV in the wild.” The portable power station also has 12-, 110-, and 220-volt outlets for powering everything from cameras to computers to lights.

While that’s notable by itself, the trailer comes equipped with an air compressor, an electric stove, a stereo, and camping lights. Users will also find “awning-style solar panels” to recharge in the wilderness. When drivers return home, the Optima Power Station can be plugged in to recharge.

Despite only teasing one model, Optima said they’ll have at least two Rivian-based overlanders on display. The company will also be showcasing new OrangeTop and HyperCore Lithium batteries, and expanded YellowTop and PureFlow AGM lineups.
