In a quest to showcase the tuning potential of the new 2023 Integra, Acura has teamed up with US-based tuners and personalities from the local car scene to create a trio of modified variants.
All three concepts feature a number of exterior, interior, and mechanical modifications compared to the stock Acura Integra, according to the taste of the car enthusiasts that took over the builds.
Track-Focused Integra By Dai Yoshihara And Evasive Motors
The first model was built by Evasive Motors, under the guidance of Dai Yoshihara, a professional driver from Tokyo who has several titles under his belt including a Formula Drift championship and class wins at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Yoshihara’s Integra is clearly track-focused. The sharp carbon-fiber splitter, side sills, front air dam, and racing mirrors are sourced by EVS Tuning, while the fender extensions and the fixed rear wing come from Voltex. The model rides on a set of white-painted 18-inch BBS REV7 forged wheels shod in Yokohama slicks. The chassis got an obviously lowered and fully adjustable suspension with RSR Sport coilovers and Whiteline rear upper arm / rear lower control arm, combined with larger brakes by Stoptech. Under the bonnet, the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine got an upgraded air filter and exhaust system by Spoon Sports, alongside a CSF intercooler.
Inside, the racing driver opted for a full roll cage by Eimer Engineering, Sparco QRT-R racing buckets made from kevlar, a Sparco quick-release steering wheel, a titanium shift knob, and an AEM CD-7 screen on the center console replacing the standard infotainment. The cabin is stripped out for weight-saving reasons, with carbon components by EVS Tuning.
NFS-Style Mods By Sara Choi And Tony Star Performance
The next Integra was built by Tony Star Performance for Sara Choi, a Hawaiian drifter, model, host, and actor based in Los Angeles. It features the most radical exterior modifications from the bunch, looking like it came out of the Need For Speed Underground universe.
The custom-designed bodykit includes a bespoke front bumper with integrated fins and a splitter on the pronounced chin, front and rear wide fenders, side skirts, a sporty rear bumper with side openings and a wide diffuser, plus a large rear wing. The bodywork is covered by an Inozetek Super Gloss Pearl White film, combined with white 19-inch Advan RSDF wheels shod in Nexen Sport R tires. Inside we find Bride Zeta IV seats by Evasive Motorsports, a teardrop shift knob by Battle Craft Hyper, and a Dogfight Race Pro steering wheel.
The turbo engine has been upgraded with a new intercooler and oil cooler supplied by GReddy Performance, and a Sports Touring Cat-Back Exhaust for a louder sound. Finally, the Tein Suspension Flex Z coilovers bring the Integra closer to the ground and improve handling.
Dark-Themed Integra By Coco Zarita And Autotuned
The last of the three modified Integras was built by Autotuned, under the guidance of Coco Zarita – a BMX athlete, car builder, and amateur drifter from Chile that is based in Santiago. Zarita’s Integra has a dark theme thanks to the “Gotham Gray” 3M vehicle wrap featuring custom graphics designed by artist Andreas Wennevold, the black 18-inch Kansei KNP wheels, and the aggressive carbon-fiber aero.
The model retains the stock bumper but features a large splitter by Auto Tuned which also supplied the side skirts and the fender extensions. At the back, there is a massive APR GTC wing, also made of carbon fiber. Inside the racing seats, six-point harnesses, and Drift-style steering wheel come from Momo with NPG supplying the quick release, the short steering hub, and the harness bar.

Powertrain mods include a GReddy intercooler, HPS-sourced cold air intake, coolant hose, and charging pipe, plus an APEXi exhaust, while it got more stylish thanks to a red engine cover by HiRev Sports. Chassis modifications include RSR Sport-I coilovers, HPS strut bar, and Willwood brakes, with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber providing extra grip.
The trio of modified Acura Integras debuted at The Petersen Museum last Sunday during the Pit+Paddock Drive-In and will be showcased in several upcoming events including the SEMA Show that is scheduled for November 1-4.
