Audi is making the A4, A5, S4, and S5 models that touch sportier with the launch of the new Competition Edition and Competition Edition Plus packages in the European market.
All models with the new Competition Edition package get a front grille, air intakes, diffuser, and tailpipes finished in high-gloss black. The four-ring Audi badges, wing mirrors, A-pillar accents, and the rear lip spoiler have the same feature, except for the A5 Cabriolet and A4 Avant models with the roof edge spoiler. The A4 also receives a gloss black stone chip protection strip.

Elsewhere, Competition Edition package-equipped S models have a black and red model designation on the radiator grille. In contrast, the A5 Cabriolet has a windshield frame, window slot trim, side window trim, and trim on the top case lid bathed in chrome. The Audi S4 and S5, as well as A4 and A5 models with the S Line package, are adorned with dark chrome exhaust tips while the tips of the S5 Cabriolet have a gloss black finish.
The Competition Edition Plus package gives customers some additional features at a discount. These include black side mirrors, LED logo projection with an S logo, an ambient lighting package, red brake calipers for select models, and an ‘Audi Rings’ decal in Brilliant Black on the rear doors or lower side panel on the Audi A5 Coupe and Cabriolet.
Audi will also offer the smoked headlight covers typically only available on RS models on the A4 and S4 while the Audi A5 and S5 are equipped with Matrix LED headlights and Audi Laser Light.
The two packages will be available in Germany starting from January 2023. Prices kicked off at €950 ($943) for the A4 and S4 and rise to €1,450 ($1,439) for the A5 and S5. The Competition Edition Plus package ups the price to €2,450 ($2,432) for the A4 and S4 and €3,150 ($3,127) for the A5 and S5.
