Delta4x4 previewed its own version of the new-gen VW Amarok which makes the flagship Panamericana trim look like a toy car in comparison. The modified truck is called “The Beast 2.0” and looks perfect for great adventures.
While Delta4x4 hasn’t started working on the actual vehicle yet, it has released a series of renderings previewing how it will look when it arrives in 2023. The model sits significantly higher than the stock Amarok, thanks to a 5.9-inch (150 mm) lift kit which is higher than the Bilstein kit offered by the tuner for the previous-gen Amarok. The 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires wrapped around a set of 18-inch Hanma wheels play their role in the increased ground clearance while offering plenty of grip on any kind of terrain.

To fit these massive wheels, Delta4x4 had to add a set of enormous fender extensions. Other modifications include the bull bar and the roof rack integrating LED light bars by PIAA, as well as the front winch and the underbody protection. For the renderings, Delta4x4 added “Beast” stickers on the side, its own emblems, and some extra kit on the roof rack highlighting its use – a shovel, recovery tracks, fuel tanks, and a full-size spare wheel.
The tuner didn’t mention anything about performance upgrades, so we guess they will stick with the stock engine. This is a Ford-sourced 3.0-liter V6 diesel that produces 238 hp (177 kW / 241 PS) or 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS) depending on the market. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
We expect to learn more about Delta4x4’s VW Amarok “The Beast 2.0” as we approach its market launch next year.
