As the world eagerly awaits the arrival of the Lamborghini Aventador’s successor, the crew at HRE Performance Wheels have created one striking Aventador SVJ.

From the factory, the Aventador SVJ is one of the most aggressive cars in existence and it’s hard to think of a way that it could be made even more eye-catching. However, HRE has done just that with the fitment of an unusual set of aftermarket wheels.

This Aventador SVJ is actually rocking two sets of different wheels. Those at the front are dubbed the Vintage 935 while those at the rear are known as the Vintage 501. While very different from each other, they both have a classic look and design, really adding something unique to the potent Italian supercar.

The wheels at the front are particularly intriguing as they have a rally-inspired aero-disc design meaning the brake discs and calipers beneath are not visible. Meanwhile, the wheels at the rear have a intricate spoke design reminiscent of the famous RS wheels from BBS.

The Aventador SVJ won’t be considered as the king of Lamborghini’s family for long. Next year, Lamborghini will unveil the Aventador’s successor and while its name isn’t yet known, it has been spied testing on a plethora of occasions in recent months.

Like its predecessor, the new Lamborghini will feature a naturally aspirated V12 but this engine will be supplemented by a hybrid power unit. The car will inevitably pump out in excess of 800 hp and should have enough grunt to out-muscle the Ferrari 296 GTB with its 818 hp.
