With December clocking in today, the new year is nearly upon us and with it come a slew of new cars, trucks, and SUVs. With that in mind, we’re wondering which singular vehicle with four wheels are you the most excited about in 2023. The options range from old-school sports cars to super-futuristic all-electric vans.
Electric vehicles play a big role in newcomers for 2023. General Motors, for example, plans to begin production of the Cadillac Celestiq before the year concludes. The Chevrolet Blazer EV and the Silverado EV pickup truck should also go on sale and see deliveries during 2023.
Volkswagen won’t release the all-new I.D. Buzz electric van before the end of 2023 but it’s promised us that we’d get all of the important details before the end of the year. That means that we’ll know about its powertrains, trims, and pricing in time for deliveries sometime in 2024.

Of course, there continues to be hardcore speculation about whether or not Tesla will actually ship the Cybertruck to customers in 2023. CEO Elon Musk has said that ‘mass production’ will begin late in the year and many recent reports seem to support that timeline. New reports say that an updated Model 3 is on the way too.
It’s not all electrons and chargers for 2023 though. Ford’s all-new Mustang is also coming and it doesn’t have anything but good ol’ internal combustion engines to choose from. It will feature the first-ever Dark Horse trim though so we’re excited to see how that fits into the history of America’s original pony car.
Ferrari will begin deliveries of the ‘not-an-SUV’ (but also very SUV-shaped and sized) Purosangue. We know that it’s going to cost a lot more than a Lamborghini Urus or an Aston Martin DBX but will it actually be all that much better to drive? Only a proper road test will tell.
There are a lot of other cars to look forward to including ones from VINFast, BMW, Hyundai, Alfa Romeo, Lexus, and more. Which one has you most excited and why? Let us know in the comments below.
