So you’re ordering a new Mercedes-Maybach S650. That’s great. Now you’re not just going to throw any old set of Delsey or Samsonite bags in the back like lesser mortals, are you?
Of course not. If you’re buying a Maybach, you probably have your own set of monogrammed Louis Vuitton trunks. But even so, you may want to check out this set of luggage instead.
Specifically designed for the big sedan’s trunk, the collection of fitted luggage includes a weekender, a garment carrier, a shoe case and even a ring and wallet for your keys.
The handbag collection is available in an array of two-tone themes to match the updated limousine: satin red, titanium grey, or deep blue, each with contrasting silk-beige trim. They’ve hand-made, embossed with the Double-M logo, and lined with a Fleurs-de Maybach pattern.
Regardless of whether you’re buying a Maybach or not, the items will be available to anyone who can afford them at dedicated boutiques in Berlin, Munich, Vienna, and (of course…) Abu Dhabi, or online, at maybach-luxury.com, starting in June.
And if you’re intrigued but aren’t quite seeing the items you want here there’s a whole range of merchandise offered as part of Maybach Icons of Luxury range, from belts and sunglasses to horse bridles and silverware. Don’t expect to get a deal, though – the bags sell for thousands, a sterling-silver soup ladle will run you a good $1,550, and a riding saddle will set you back over $10k. All of which gives you an idea of the kind of customers Daimler is going after with its Maybach models.
