Lamborghini makes two-seat supercars, like the Huracan and Aventador. With the introduction of the Urus, it makes crossover SUVs, too. It’s even lent its engines to Formula One racers and speed boats. But bicycles?

That’s just what Lamborghini has introduced at the Geneva Motor Show this year. Born out of a collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and Cervélo Cycles, the P5X is a triathalon bicycle worthy of the Raging Bull.

Just look at the thing, for crying out loud. It’s all done up in yellow and black, with Lamborghini’s now-signature Y-shape motif. The bodywork is suitably angular, too, and results from over 180 hours of testing in the wind tunnel. And it features top-shelf components – but the motivation comes in this case from the rider, not one of Sant’Agata’s ten- or twelve-cylinder engines.

“Our Lamborghini Accademia drivers have been training on Cervélo for some time now, so we already know how special, and how fast, these bikes are,” said Katia Bassi, Lamborghini’s Chief Marketing Officer. “With elite performances, outstanding design and innovation, this collaborative project was a natural fit for both brands.”

Only 25 examples will be produced, which puts it on about the same level as limited-run hypercars like the Centenario and Sento Elemento on the scale of rare Lambos.

We’re afraid to ask how much each will sell for, but considering that the standard P5X goes for about $15k, we’re expecting a rather large sticker price. But then what’s that relative to the $200+k you’d have to drop on a new Urus to put it in?
