Driven: Supercharged Theon Design 911 Is A New Take On An Old Favorite
While the supercharged engine might be what draws you into this article, the Theon Design 911 is so much more than just your “usual” 911 restomod. The attention to detail is second to none, with the company welding up holes that the factory was happy to leave plugged with rubber, and adding immaculate finishing to the frunk, complete with a leather-wrapped strut brace and leather embossed panels. With a complete redesign on the cards for the next generation, the Toyota Camry is set to adopt the design language embraced by the latest Prius and more crossover-ish Crown. Our independent illustrations depict a sleek three-box shape, with a curvaceous hood and boomerang-shaped LED headlamps. Beyond that, it would appear that the V6 engine option will be no more, with hybrid four-cylinder motors the most likely candidates to be offered.
Bugatti Chiron Successor Will Get A “Bonkers” Rimac-Developed Hybrid ICE Engine
The Buggati Chiron’s replacement will retain an ICE engine, as CEO Mate Rimac recently confirmed, adding that the car will be a clean-sheet design featuring a Rimac-developed hybrid combustion engine. Describing the new powertrain as “totally bonkers” to Auto Express, the next model from Bugatti was initially going to be an electric crossover SUV to rival the Ferrari Purosangue. These plans were stopped when Rimac took the helm, with a totally new hybrid hypercar taking its place in the launch schedule.
Next BMW X3M Could Go EV-Only, Report Claims
The next generation of BMW X3M may just be replaced by an all-electric equivalent in the form of an iX3M, suggests a report by BMW Blog. BMW’s Neue Klasse platform will be rolled out in 2025, with one of the first cars to get it being the next the iX3. A combustion X3 will be sold alongside it, but that will be based on an evolution of the current CLAR platform. Do you think anyone would miss a combustion X3M?
