On this day, the shortest of the year, as the cold darkness of night has already begun to creep into this writer’s home, Jeep has decided to remind us cold northerners, that beaches still exist, and some people are on them. The automaker announced details for the Wrangler High Tide model and the very special-edition “Jeep Beach” trim.
The Jeep Wrangler High Tide is based on the Sport S model and is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine, which is hooked up to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, it gets the Xtreme Recon Package, which includes 35-inch BF Goodrich tires, 17-by-8-inch beadlock capable wheels, a 4.56 rear axle ration, a 1.5-inch factory lift with unique suspension tuning, hinge-gate reinforcements, a jack spacer, a tire relocation kit, and wheel flare extensions.
It also gets a body color hardtop, a sunrider fliptop, LED headlights and fog lights, rock rails, sand/slush mats, and High Tide hood decals. Jeep is asking for $51,540 for the vehicle, which is already available to order.

Building on the High Tide trim, the limited edition Jeep Wrangler Jeep Beach will add a few special touches. It gets a Jeep Beach hood decal, Katzkin leather seats (embroidered with “Jeep Beach”), body color fenders, a Jeep Beach 20th Anniversary shifter medallion, and a Jeep Beach swing gate plaque.
The special edition model will be limited to just 500 examples, and the automaker is asking for a little more money because of the added features and rarity of the model. The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Jeep Beach will ring in at $54,040.
Both models are available in six colors including Hydro Blue, High Velocity, Black, Bright White, Punk’n and Sting Gray. The models are designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jeep Beach, one of the brand’s largest events in America. The Daytona Beach, Florida, event invites enthusiasts from around the world, to enjoy off-roading events and peruse the wares of industry vendors.
“Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the biggest Jeep vehicle events in America, bringing in more than 200,000 Jeep fans and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2022 alone,” said Jim Morrison, the head of the Jeep brand in North America. “With the Wrangler High Tide and 20th anniversary Jeep Beach special editions, we get to celebrate our customers’ passion for beach-ready vehicles during this week-long event.”
