Sixth-generation Ford Mustangs are a dime a dozen nowadays but if you want to own one that stands out, this particular example could be the perfect choice.

What you’re looking at is the very first sixth-gen Mustang that Saleen modified and built. It was showcased at a home of auto shows in the U.S., Canada, and China and is officially known as the 302 Black Label.

The paint of the car is what immediately catches the eye. It is bathed in California Sunset Yellow Metallic that was used as a homage to the late Paul Walker who was a personal friend of Steve Saleen. The paint consists of 4 coats of base color and 4 coats of clear.

The car has been listed up for sale on eBay. It has been listed on behalf of a friend of the seller who is downsizing a large collection of cars. It was purchased directly from Steve Saleen after it had completed its auto show rounds and driven just 6,000 miles (~9,600 km). The listing notes that it has never been used as a daily driver and has “no dings, scratches, dents or swirls.”

Saleen unveiled its 302 Black Label prototype in March 2015. When launched, it was fitted with a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 churning out 730 hp and 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque but was upgraded in 2017 with a tune, new injectors, and an updated throttle body. It now delivers 800 hp and 675 lb-ft (915 Nm) of torque, giving it enough to rival the almighty Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

The seller notes that despite having owned over 1,000 vehicles in the past, he has rarely seen one that has been kept in as excellent condition as this Saleen. It is also currently insured for $125,000 and has a Buy It Now price of $99,000.
