Amalgam Collection has joined forces with Ferrari and is now offering scale models of new Ferrari models that exactly match the specifications selected by customers.

The partnership means that anyone who orders a new Ferrari Roma, 812 Superfast, 812 GTS, Portofino M, SF90 Stradale, or SF90 Spider through a Ferrari dealership will have the option to also order either a 1:8 or 1:12 scale model through Amalgam.

When a shopper orders a new Ferrari and also buys the Amalgam model, Ferrari will send the car’s exact specifications to Amalgam Collection which will then build the model. Both the exterior and interior are customized to match the real car while the 1:8 scale models even come complete with doors that can be opened.

Amalgam Collection has not revealed how much Ferrari owners will have to pay for a customized scale model. However, a look at its website reveals that its 1:12 scale models of the Ferrari 296 GTB, 296 GTS, Purosangue, SF90 Stradale, Portofino M, Roma, 812 Superfast, 812 GTS, and SF90 Spider each cost $4,500. Prices for the 1:8 scale models rise considerably and generally sit at around the $15,995 mark for current Ferrari models.

While the scale models aren’t cheap, they’re easily affordable for anyone who has the resources to order and buy a brand-new Ferrari. After all, Ferrari has previously come under fire was charging over $4,200 to add Apple CarPlay to models including the Portofino and GTC4Lusso and despite the controversy, many customers still pay that much.
