Crazy wraps are nothing new, as we have already seen all kinds of ways to make your car stand out, ranging from the tasteful to the retina-scorching for that perfect Instagram post.

The latest wrap we came across was created by Joshua Vides, a veteran artist known for making sneakers look like black-and-white sketches. The concept is now spreading to other objects, including this first-gen Acura NSX.

The 1995 NSX is displayed at Vides’ latest LA exhibition called “Reality to Idea”, alongside matching cones and chequered flags.

The black lines on the white wrap have been painted by hand and clearly the wrap was created purely for display purposes as the glasshouse, air intakes and taillights are also covered.

The final result does look impressive. The only tell-tale that this is a real car and not a sketch are the wheels, which are the only thing that doesn’t match this very well-crafted illusion.
