Genesis has come a long way in recent years, establishing itself as a company that can be mentioned in the same breath as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. However, if the company was to go further up-market and compete with the likes of Bentley and Maybach, what kind of model could it produce?
To give us an idea of how the ultimate Genesis sedan coupe look, talented designer SungNak Lee has created a stunning sports sedan concept that builds upon the company’s current design language and looks truly sensational.
The front of the Genesis sports sedan is simply stunning. Much like the Genesis X Speedium Coupe and Genesis X Concept, it features the company’s familiar LED headlights with the upper part forming a light bar and the lower part stretching diagonally down the fascia. Two small vertical bars of light are also featured towards the base of the bumper.

In designing the car, Lee has made it extremely long, helping to maximize interior space while also adding to the elegant design. We’re particularly fond of the shape of the greenhouse that has slim side front windows but slightly larger side rear windows. A flowing C-pillar finished in silver adds to the appeal, as do the large wheels.
Then there’s the rear. It is much more curvaceous than any current Genesis model and features two full-width LED light bars that curve upward and across the sculpted decklid. Mimicking the front are two vertical LED lights incorporated into the center of the bumper.
The four-seater is even more impressive on the inside. It features a digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen spanning most of the dashboard and also has a steering wheel that can retract into the dash. When the car is stationary, the front seats can fold down and the entire dashboard, including the screens, slide forwards and can then be used by passengers sitting in the rear.
