The Nissan Juke might be aging, having been around since 2010, but it still has one flashy exterior design. However, the new Citroen C3 Aircross also boasts a distinctive design and, having been launched last year, it’s definitely more modern.
The Aircross is basically a jacked up version of the C3 supermini with different personalization options. Well, there are actually 85 different ways to spec it, and it looks funky not just on the outside, but in the cabin, too.
At a first glance, the new C3 Aircross is a nice place to sit in, according to CarBuyer’s review. The front seats are comfortable and the driving position is good. However, some scratchy plastics drag it down, along with the infotainment system that’s not intuitive, and the climate control that’s is hidden away in a submenu, so operating it is tricky, especially on the move.
The reclining rear seat that slides backwards and forwards is a nice addition that’s only available on the range-topping version. This takes care of the legroom and headroom, even with the optional sunroof.
On the highway, the C3 Aircross is a comfortable cruiser. This, though, comes with a lot of sacrifices, namely in the steering department. Thus, if a sportier feel is what you’re into, then you’re probably better off with another subcompact crossover, like say a Mazda CX-3.
