Most would agree that the Lexus LC is one of the most beautiful cars currently on sale.
While there’s no denying that Lexus has some rather odd-looking vehicles in its current line-up, the design of the LC is hard to fault. It looks good from every angle and is so extraordinarily sleek that many unassuming motorists would likely think it’s a legitimate supercar, rather than a grand tourer. However, if Lexus were to make the LC even more practical with a Shooting Brake variant, what would it look like?
To answer that question, the talented Sugar Design has expertly rendered an LC Shooting Brake. It looks truly phenomenal and while we wouldn’t say it looks better than the Coupe, it’s not far off.

Like most Shooting Brake models, the front end remains largely identical to the standard Coupe and the changes only really start from behind the doors. The roof has been stretched and there is now a particularly sleek-looking C-pillar that suits the overall design of the car absolutely perfectly.
We think the LC Shooting Brake looks especially good from the rear three-quarter view where the re-shaped roofline, the C-pillar, and the revised fascia immediately catch the eye.
It goes without saying that a Lexus LC Shooting Brake will likely never come to fruition unless one is built by an aftermarket firm or coachbuilder. That’s a shame as such a model would help to broaden the appeal of the LC and could boost sales.
