Samsung is gearing up to launch a limited-edition version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone designed in partnership with BMW M.

The phone is scheduled for release on February 17 and will pay homage to the German brand and in particular the E30-generation BMW M3. A handful of features and accessories will distinguish the device from a standard S23 Ultra.

For example, a hard case has been designed with a BMW badge, M logo, and kidney grille graphics on the rear. Additionally, each special-edition S23 Ultra purchased will come with a BMW M car clock, an air pump, a vehicle sunshade clip, a book chronically the history of the M brand, and a key ring that can be fitted with one of seven provided detachable badges.

Samsung has also tweaked the software of the smartphone so it shows a BMW M logo and theme screen when being booted up.

Each and every device as part of the series will also come with the BMW lifestyle membership app, BMW Vantage. Buyers will also receive a BMW Driving Center ‘Starter Pack Voucher’ that will give them driving tips from a professional instructor. The app also grants users access to BMW experiences and events.

Just 1,000 examples of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition will be produced. Pre-orders are already open in Korea but it’s not yet clear how and if those in other markets will be able to get their hands on it.
