In just over a month’s time, the very last Final Call Special Edition from Dodge will debut at Roadkill Nights in Las Vegas. In the lead-up to that event, Dodge will drop a series of teasers about what it calls the Ultimate Dodge special-edition vehicle. The first morsel of clues about the model just dropped in a ten-second clip.

As a send-off to the beloved but somewhat long-toothed HEMI engine, Dodge is building seven “Last Call” special edition models. The last one doesn’t have a publicly-known name at this point but evidently, it’s pretty powerful. According to Dodge’s boss Tim Kuniskis, the V8 under the hood of this car has taken more development time because it kept blowing up in testing.

In fact, it was initially scheduled for a full unveiling last year during SEMA before it was pushed back due to these development teething problems. It seems that now, the team has its ducks (or should we say ponies) in a row. Starting on February 22nd, the brand will drop a new video teaser over the next four weeks.

In the teaser seen above we don’t get too much information at all. All we can see is a swirling bit of smoke and what looks to be a doll of some sort. It features almost glowing eyes and a smirk on its face but we can’t see too much more. Just as things are coming into the light the image disappears.

Some have suggested that it could be a gremlin of some sort but we’re not too sure about that. Others say that the ten-second length of the clip could hint at this car’s quarter-mile time. Again, we’re not very confident in that assertion. The Challenger Demon with its 840 hp can dispatch a quarter mile in just 9.65 seconds.

Releasing the “ultimate Dodge” with a time that’s not as fast doesn’t really seem all that ultimate to us. What do you think of the trailer? What’s your guess on what this final last call Dodge will actually be?
