Model cars are great, but they aren’t often useful. And that somehow just doesn’t feel right for the Suzuki Jimny, perhaps the world’s most adorable utility vehicle, so Japan’s Camshop has created the world’s most useful model of it.
Thanks to a licensing deal with Suzuki, the retailer has produced a remarkably accurate 1/12 scale model of the Jimny that also acts as a tissue box cover. Officially a “wet tissue case,” according to Google Translate, the SUV comes with a panel on top to allow owners to hide wet toilettes throughout their house, without having to buy ugly covers from Winners.
A model of many uses, though, its roof can be removed entirely to allow owners to store a full-size tissue box, or it can be used as a planter, a spice holder, or any number of products. You can even hold your Suzuki Jimny USB key under its hood.

Although the company has been selling a Jimny tissue cover for some time, it announced this year that it had updated the model for added realism. With new tires, over-fenders, as well as an inspection sticker, it’s a more accurate representation of the Suzuki Jimny Sierra than ever before. Buyers can choose from six colors (Kinetic Yellow, Chiffon Ivory, Jungle Green, Medium Gray, black, and white), the prices for all are ¥5,500 ($41 USD at current exchange rates).
One of a range of car-related items Camshop.jp sells, car nuts can also buy Volkswagen Microbus tissue cases, a Lamborghini Murcielago USB key, a Mercedes G-Class Bluetooth speaker, or even a wireless mouse in the shape of a Toyota 2000 GT or a Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R.
The mouse costs a little more than the tissue box, at ¥6,600 ($49 USD), which makes sense given the tech inside. Don’t go thinking that these are more examples of great vehicles that can’t be bought in the U.S., because Camshop does ship globally. The cost of shipping, though, will be roughly the same as the price of the products, unfortunately.
