The 2023 Jeep Renegade already starts at a ridiculous $30,490, which is actually more than what the larger 2023 Compass costs (from $29,995) , but customers can go even higher with the new Upland Edition.
Currently available to order, the $31,085 Renegade Upland is based on the entry-level Latitude trim and sees the pint-sized crossover equipped with Trailhawk-like bumpers, a matte black hood decal, and 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. The special edition also comes equipped with gloss black accents, cornering fog lights, and a windshield wiper deicer.
Moving into the cabin, there’s a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, bronze accents, and black cloth seats with a topographic pattern. Buyers will also find ambient lighting, a “techno-leather” steering wheel, and an 8.4-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 177 hp (132 kW / 179 PS) and 210 lb-ft (284 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system.
Besides introducing the Upland Edition, Jeep announced the Solar Yellow paint job is returning due to “popular demand.” The retina-burning hue will be available on all Renegades and Jeep’s North American boss, Jim Morrison, remarked “Our vibrant exterior color palette is something we take great pride in, so reviving Solar Yellow for the Renegade lineup is yet another example of a standout exterior shade that speaks to our loyal and avid Jeep community.”
