Often described as the most beautiful car of all time, the Lamborghini Miura was a legend in its own era, and has only become more so over time. So, in 2016, the automaker decided to celebrate the car’s legacy with an homage based on the Aventador.
The mid-engine supercar featured a retro color palette inspired by the options offered for the Miura, and had contrasting wheels and rocker panels. This example from 2017 features the slightly less retro, but no less pretty, combination of black paint with gold contrasting, and it could now be yours.
One of just 50 ever built, the Aventador LP700-4 Miura 50 Homage Edition is powered by Lamborghini’s trusty 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12, which makes 691 hp (515 kW/700 PS) and 507 lb-ft (687 Nm) of torque, making it almost exactly twice as powerful as the original Miura P400.

That power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed ISR automated manual transmission. Here, the wheels are provided by App Tech, have a gold finish (to match the rocker panels) and measure in at 20-inches at the front and 21-inches at the back. They are shod in 255/30 and 355/25 Pirelli P Zero tires respectively.
Inside, the car features all of the tech you could want from a Lamborghini, including heated, power-adjustable seats, trimmed in Terra Emilia leather which feature “Miura 50” embroidery in the seatbacks.
This example was delivered new to Gold Coast Exotic Imports in Chicago, and was purchased by its current owner in 2020. It has 2,200 miles (3,540 km), which is by no means many, but is not impressively low for a car of this kind, either.
Up for sale on Bring a Trailer, potential buyers will have until March 9, at 4:53 p.m. (eastern time) to put in a bid for this piece of Lamborghini history.
