Besides talking about battery capacities and performance specs, Hyundai revealed the Kona Electric has 400V technology.  While it’s not as advanced as the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, drivers can expect to go from a 10% to 80% charge in as little as 41 minutes with a fast charger.

Hyundai also noted the model sports a new one-pedal driving mode, a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, and a drag coefficient of 0.27.  Buyers will also find a battery preconditioning system, a new charging port door lamp, and a frozen charge door prevention system that works at temperatures as low as -30° C (-22° F).

Outside, the model sports a distinctive “Pixelated Seamless Horizon Lamp” and “Pixel graphics.”  The Kona EV has also grown as it’s 6.9 inches (175 mm) longer than the outgoing crossover and rides on a 2.4 inch (60 mm) longer wheelbase.
