This is Mansory’s take on the new Mercedes-AMG SL 63 and while it may not be the tuner’s most overt creation we’ve seen in recent months, it’s still quite the upgrade from the standard model. As we have come to expect from Mansory, the modifications for the new SL 63 are quite comprehensive and encompass changes to the exterior and interior, as well as the engine. Let’s start with the engine, shall we?
Driving the open-top sports car is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG V8 pumping out 577 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Figures like this are not to be underestimated and are roughly on par with supercars from just a decade ago. Not satisfied, Mansory has developed two different upgrades with the first lifting power to 710 hp and the second rated at 838 hp.

While we don’t yet know if these figures have simply been achieved with a tune or a tune in combination with some mechanical upgrades, the company says the car can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and soldier through to a 206 mph (332 km/h) top speed.
Then we get to the exterior. Mansory has made the SL 63 look like something you’d expect to see wearing a Black Series badge, fitting a new black grille and a revised front fascia with enlarged air intakes and a sharp new splitter. A distinctive new hood has also been installed as have a set of large 22-inch wheels with a black finish. Further changes made to the sides include new skirts and aggressive louvers behind the front wheels.
The rear of the car benefits from an overhauled diffuser, a new bumper, and revised quad tailpipes.
Rounding out Mansory’s upgrades is an overhauled interior trimmed in beautiful white leather with quilted stitching, carbon fiber accents, and white seat belts.
