Theon Design will be lifting the veil on its latest Porsche 911 restomod later this month at the exclusive Salon Privé event in London.
Each 911 built by the British company in recent years is special and this latest model is the same. It is dubbed ITA001 and started out life as a 964 911 Carrera 4 before Theon set about modifying and upgrading every aspect of it.
For starters, Theon Design has equipped the car with a 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine that churns out an impressive 400 hp. It has also equipped it with the six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential of a 993-generation Porsche 911 Carrera RS. Other details include a set of brakes from the 993 RS and 18-inch Fuchs wheels.
There are plenty of other aspects that make Theon’s 911 impressive, including the advanced five-stage adjustable TracTive Active Controlled Electronics suspension with dampers designed to work perfectly on the road and track. It also features a hydraulic nose lift.

From a visual standpoint, Theon has given the 911 a glorious black paint finish while the cabin rocks Recaro seats trimmed in plush Bridle leather. It also has a Focal sound system with Bluetooth, not that we can imagine the owner listening to music rather than the scream of the engine very often. There is even a magnetic wireless charging smartphone slot.
“We are very excited to be exhibiting for the very first time at Salon Privé London with our latest creation, ITA001,” Theon co-founder Adam Hawley said. “The car’s been created for a discerning collector from Milan, and is genuinely the realisation of their Porsche 911 fantasy. We believe it will deliver the ultimate air-cooled Porsche 911 experience and we look forward to meeting enthusiasts at Salon Privé London to share our obsession about Porsche.”
Theon Design hasn’t said how much ITA001 costs but its commissions start at £380,000 ($471,000) and take 18 months to build.
