Genesis has launched a new program in the United States that will make it easier for customers to start using solar energy and energy storage systems in their homes.
The program, dubbed Genesis Home, aims to streamline the home electrification process and provide owners with access to Energy Advisors. These Energy Advisors will guide shoppers through the home electrification journey and get them in contact with pre-vetted installers who can fit the latest products and technologies.
Genesis Home provides access to rooftop solar systems, energy storage, charging systems, and any additional systems that shoppers may want to make their homes more sustainable and eco-friendly. Initial ecosystems to be provided by Genesis Home consist of rooftop solar panels, home energy storage systems, and a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 Charger.

The program has been launched with the help of Electrify America and follows on from Genesis’ collaboration on charging solutions for the GV60, Electrified G80, and Electrified GV70 with Electrify America.
“Genesis Home is an end-to-end mobility solution that both lowers barriers to EV adoption, while simultaneously providing a seamless solution for our discerning clients to generate and store dependable, clean electric power and to harness their home energy to charge their electric vehicle,” Genesis Motor North America chief operating officer Claudia Marquez said. “Genesis Home provides clients with peace of mind from the knowledge that Genesis has developed a single destination for consumers’ home electrification needs.”
As it stands, the Genesis Home ecosystem is only available through select dealers in certain areas in the United States but will become available from additional dealers throughout the year.
