We already have an idea of what we should expect to see at the 2018 Paris Auto Show, scheduled for October 2-14, such as the new BMW Z4 and Audi’s zero-emission SUV.

A new report, published by AutoBild, suggests that the third generation Mercedes-Benz B-Class will also debut in the same event. The vehicle shares its platform with the latest A-Class, along with most of its engine lineup and technologies.

It will rival the likes of the BMW 2-Series Active and Sports Tourer as a more veersatile version of its hatchback sibling in an attempt to make it more attractive for consumers. The 2019 MB-Class will be joined by the A-Class Sedan, second-gen CLA and GLA, and a new GLB boxy-looking crossover.

Peugeot is expected to replace the six-year old 208 with an entirely new generation, too. The B-segment hatchback will use the same platform as the 2017 Citroen C3 and will probably get the same powertrains. A zero-emission derivative of the supermini is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2019.

With the new Peugeot 508 ready to arrive at dealers, Citroen will offer their own version of the D-segment car. Just like other PSA products, the third-gen C5 is believed to arrive at the Paris Auto Show this fall. However, the company’s CEO Linda Jackson said last year that the new C5 sedan will debut in 2020, so we could be looking at a concept car in this case.

It’s hard to believe that the Clio IV is currently six years old, but it is. Thus, Renault is said to bring an all-new model to Paris, based on the updated CMF-B platform of the current iteration and powered by small petrol units. The 2019 Renault Clio could gain mild hybrid powertrains, too, but diesels are apparently still under consideration.

The new-gen BMW 3-Series might also show its face in Paris, alongside the estate version of the latest Peugeot 508, and probably a concept version from Alpine that previews their upcoming SUV.
