It’s a drop top double feature as spy photographers have snapped the 2024 Porsche 911 Convertible and 911 Targa.

Expected to be introduced later this year, the facelifted models are instantly recognizable and adopt a handful of subtle updates. The most noticeable change is the new front bumper, which features more pronounced intakes and relocated lights that appear to be masked by black tape. These prototypes also sport two horizontal bars, while eschewing the vertical slats seen on previous testers.

Additional changes are limited, but the facelifted 911s will have updated lighting units and a new rear bumper with a license plate recess that is mounted higher up. They’ll be joined by new exhaust systems, although Porsche normally offers a couple different options.

The evolutionary changes continue inside as previous spy photos have shown the model will adopt a digital instrument cluster. We also wouldn’t be surprised to find an updated infotainment system.

Little else is known about the facelift at this point, but we can likely expect some performance upgrades. That remains to be seen, but the current 911 Carrera has a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 379 hp (283 kW / 384 PS) and 331 lb-ft (448 Nm) of torque. The Carrera S boosts those numbers to 443 hp (330 kW / 449 PS) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm), while other variants are far more extreme.
