Kahn Automobiles has released a special edition Land Rover Defender to celebrate the vehicle’s 75th anniversary. The Heritage Remastered variant features retro-inspired design elements, but the unique brownish color may not be to everyone’s taste.
In crafting its latest Defender package, dubbed the Heritage Remastered and available in 90 and 110 guises, Kahn Automobiles took inspiration from the first-ever production Land Rover to be built, known for rocking a ‘HUE 166’ license plate.
Distinctive elements for the special Defender start at the front end where Kahn has crafted a new three-piece lower bumper valance with a grille painted in the same shade of paint as the rest of the bodywork. A ‘90’ or ‘110’ graphic is also visible. Furthermore, the Land Rover has been fitted with a set of flared front and rear wheel arches and sits on 22-inch British Heritage RS-Forged wheels that are also body-colored.
The British aftermarket firm and tuner has also given the roof a contrasting ivory finish and a new spare wheel cover with either a ‘90’ or ‘110’ graphic.

As for the interior, it is a far cry from the original 1948 Land Rover given that it has all the same features and technologies as any other current-generation Defender. There are some special Kahn touches, including the choice between Saddle Tan leather and Vintage Cloth Houndstooth material across the seats.
Kahn Automobiles has listed its first Defender Heritage Remastered model for sale on its website with an asking price of £89,990 ($111,510). It is outfitted with the off-roader’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 296 hp and has been driven 1,940 miles (3,122 km) since new. While not cheap, it is roughly on par with the D300 Defender 90 75th Limited Edition and D300 Defender X 90 that Land Rover itself sells in the UK for £86,200 ($106,813) and £83,910 ($103,976) respectively.
