The new Range Rover has been popular with tuners like Mansory, Manhart, and Project Kahn, so it doesn’t surprise us that 1016 Industries also added the luxurious SUV to its catalog. The US-based tuner launched a sporty body kit for the Range Rover that is available in FRP, twill carbon fiber, or forged carbon fiber versions.
The new body kit is compatible with all versions of the Range Rover, including the long wheelbase. It adds an extra flair of sportiness to the SUV without going over the top. At the front, changes include the aerodynamic lip, the insert around the stock bumper intakes, and a sculpted hood. The profile gains wide fender extensions and side skirts, which would go nicely with an aftermarket set of alloy wheels that are not included in the package. The rear end gets a larger roof spoiler and a redesigned diffuser with elongated exhaust pipes. Finally, the Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and the tailgate is replaced by “Tensixteen” badges.

The add-on parts were made through Composite Printing technology. According to the tuner, this allows for a “seamless fitment” and quick installment which requires “little to no adjustment”.
1016 Industries doesn’t offer any performance or chassis upgrades, despite the fact that the renderings appear to depict a lowered suspension. The most powerful Range Rover variant that is currently available from the factory produces 523 hp (390 kW / 530 PS) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque thanks to a BMW-sourced twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 which sounds more than enough for a luxury SUV. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the air suspension will make sure you ride in comfort.
If you are wondering about the cost of the visual upgrades, the wide-body kit is priced at $28,500 when made from paintable FRP, $35,000 from twill carbon fiber, and $40,000 from forged carbon fiber. The narrow-body kit which includes the exact same components minus the fender extensions is somewhat cheaper, costing between $21,000 and $29,500. Finally, if you want to add the custom hood, you’ll need an extra $2,295-$3,595 depending on the material of choice.
