The Ferrari 458 Italia is such a fantastic performance car that probably should be left untouched and unmodified. However, Liberty Walk clearly thinks differently and for the last couple of years has been producing a menacing body kit for the 458, dubbed the Silhouette. This is the tuner’s latest 458 with the kit and it’s based on the wild 458 Challenge.

For this project, the Japanese tuner decided to replace every single body panel of the track car with new parts made from carbon fiber. The alterations are particularly striking at the front where there is a new grille, a unique splitter, and aerodynamic canards on the outer edges of the bumper. Liberty Walk’s Silhouette kit also includes a new hood with large air extractors. You may also notice the subtle louvers on the front quarter panels, similar to those of the 458 Speciale, as well as the new blacked-out Ferrari badge just below the license plate.

Things don’t stop there. Liberty Walk has then installed new wing mirrors, also made from carbon fiber, while also crafting new door panels and aerodynamic side skirts. The Ferrari also has a set of aftermarket wheels with center locks and appears to be riding on an air suspension kit, hence why it sits so low to the ground.

Liberty Walk’s modifications to the Ferrari continue at the rear where it has fitted a towering new spoiler with uprights that extend down to the center of the fascia. A bold new diffuser is also present that doesn’t just add to the visual appeal of the car but we’re sure also helps to boost downforce, although we’d be shocked if anyone took this car to the track for fear of scratching or messing up the beautiful carbon fiber bodywork.
