Hot on the heels of McLaren unveiling its latest mid-engined supercar, the 750S, the official online configurator for it has been launched. While the 750S is only an updated version of the 720S rather than an all-new model, it does promise to make an impressive car even better.

The configurator reveals that the 750S can be finished in one of five available Standard colors, one of 13 Elite colors, or one of 15 MSO colors. Choosing one isn’t easy as all look excellent but in configuring our dream 750S, we went with Lantana Purple.

Next are the wheels. McLaren currently offers three different wheel designs for the 750S, known as the Turbine, Strike, and Vortex, all of which are forged. We have gone with the Turbine 10-spoke ultra-lightweight wheels with a silver finish and contrasted with brake calipers in an Azores orange finish, but the Speedline Gold brake calipers also look excellent. Customers are then offered a choice between Pirelli P Zero, Pirelli P Zero Corsa, and Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires.

A host of other options are offered for the exterior of the 750S. These include the Black Pack that gives parts like the hood air intake, door mirror castings, and rear fender intakes a black finish. Shoppers after a more exotic look can select the Exterior Details Carbon Fiber Pack which adds a plethora of carbon elements. An Underbody Carbon Fiber Pack and an Upper Structure Carbon Fiber Pack are also featured on our car. Other options include a naked carbon fiber hood and rear wing as well as gloss black, body color, or carbon fiber headlight surrounds.

Three interior levels are available, consisting of the full Alcantara option, the Performance Interior, and the Techlux Interior with plenty of soft-grain leather. We went with the latter and opted for the Jet Black and Porcelain leather and Alcantara finish.
