Mercedes-Benz only produced a little over 100 examples of the insane G63 AMG 6×6 so when we thought we had stumbled upon one online, we got a little excited. Alas, this isn’t a genuine G63 AMG 6×6 but it is still very cool and could still sell for a very handsome sum.
This particular G63 AMG is a 2019 model purchased by the current owner last year and set to Apocalypse Manufacturing in Florida. You may have heard of Apocalypse before as they produce a number of other wild 6×6 creations, some of which are based on the Jeep Gladiator.
In modifying the Mercedes, Apocalypse has tried its very best to make it look like a real G63 6×6 and we must say, it has done a good job. Like the real model, this converted G63 has been outfitted with three portal axles and benefits from a significant increase in its ride height as well as a set of 22-inch Fuel wheels with 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. One of the most obvious differences between this model and a genuine G63 6×6 is that this one is slightly shorter and does not have such a large bed.
The Bring a Trailer listing notes that in addition to an extra axle, two new wheels, and a bed, the Mercedes is rocking a Kevlar brushed guard, new running boards, and a rough matte black paint finish. Found in the cabin is Designo Mystic Red leather with black accents as well as heated and ventilated front seats.

The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 remains in the same spec as the standard model, meaning it still delivers 577 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque.
While we’re sure there will be someone out there willing to spend a small fortune on the G-Wagon, it’s worth pointing out that it suffered undercarriage damage in a 2020 crash that also triggered the airbags.
