”Porsche Drive offers a fantastic combination of freedom and unforgettable driving experiences,” Porsche Cars North America president and chief executive Kjell Gruner said. “We know customers value flexibility and choice – and Porsche Drive adapts to the specific wishes of our customers. The feedback we receive from subscribers is that Porsche Drive allows them to curate the perfect vehicle for whatever they are up to, whether it’s a 911 for a special birthday dinner or a Taycan to experience the best that electric driving can offer.”
Porsche Drive also offers a rental program where current models can be rented from $245 per day plus tax and driven for up to 200 miles.
While some car manufacturers have dropped their subscription services over the past couple of years, Porsche broadly boasts that more than 2,000 customers have participated in the subscription and rental programs, noting that 80% of them are new to the brand. What the carmaker hasn’t said is just how many Porsche Drive customers end up purchasing a Porsche model.
