It seems that thieves have become exceptionally adept at targeting special editions of the Dodge Challenger, as they recently managed to make off with the pictured Hellcat Redeye from a car dealership in Caledonia Township, Michigan in under two minutes.
In a video shared on social media, Jordan Baker, the owner of Comodo Motors, detailed the unfortunate incident of the Challenger Hellcat Redeye vanishing from their premises. Baker appealed to the public for assistance in locating the stolen vehicle.

The incident took place on Wednesday, May 10, as captured by the dealership’s surveillance footage. It shows that the thieves approached the vehicle at precisely 4:16 in the morning and swiftly departed just two minutes later at 4:18 am, proving just how easy it is to trick the electronics and start the engine if you have the right computer module.
The stolen vehicle is a 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, as seen in the provided image, with a mileage of 6,073 miles. This particular model was listed for sale on the Comodo Motors website for a cool $129,995. This vehicle was one of only 52 units produced for that model year. Its distinctiveness was further enhanced by its Cinnamon Stick exterior shade and 20-inch wheels finished in Brass Monkey, making it even more special.
The only remaining evidence in the dealer’s driveway is a piece of broken tinted glass and a food wrapper. As reported by M Live, the thieves headed north on Broadmoor Avenue and were later spotted in Wendy’s parking lot across the street.
The Kent County Sheriff‘s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident and is urging anyone who may have spotted the vehicle on the road to come forward with information. As pointed out by the owner, the highly sought-after Dodge might end up being sold for parts, given the substantial value of its 797-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, estimated at $30,000 to $40,000. Below, you can see a video of the vehicle, which remained on display for about a month before being stolen.
