The summer is approaching, so Lexus is getting ready for sales of its drop-top sports car, the LC 500 Convertible, to really pick up. With the 2024 model year, it is bringing new tech, a Bespoke Build option for the very first time, and more to the car.
Although the 2024 LC 500 Convertible continues on largely unchanged for from last year, one major update will be the infotainment screen. Now equipped with a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen, as opposed to the controversial old 10.3-inch split screen display. Although the screen is bigger and promises to be more useable, it is slightly less elegantly incorporated into the interior, as you can see below.
The software inside the screen is powered by Lexus Interface software, which offers over-the-air updates for drivers. Additionally, if they prefer not to use the touchscreen, they can speak up and use Intelligent Assistant voice controls. It also connects to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and more.

On the less techy end of the spectrum, buyers will have more design freedom than ever, thanks to Lexus’ new Bespoke Build option. This offers new customization options, to make the 2024 LC 500 Convertible even more personalized than ever before.
Available across the LC 500 lineup, Bespoke Build offers a new White and Blue interior color option, which joins the returning options, Black, Toasted Caramel, and Dark Rose. This bright new color combination doesn’t come cheap, because it’s a $1,900 option.
Outside, buyers are offered two new paint color options: Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest (which cost an additional $595). They join returning colors Caviar, Cloudburst Gray, Atomic Silver, Ultra White, Infrared, Flare Yellow, and Nori Green Pearl.
To complement them, new soft top colors Dark Rose and Blue are offered as part of the Bespoke Build program. They add another $6,115 to the price of LC 500 Convertible.
The customization program also offers buyers optional 21-inch forged alloy wheels with an all-black finish. These can be selected instead of the standard 21-inch forged alloy gloss black wheels with metallic accents.
Finally, all Bespoke Build LC 500s will have an interior badge included inside them. This will come in addition to a certificate of authenticity printed on Japanese washi paper, which is signed and stamped by LC Chief Engineer Yasuhi Muto, and Lexus VP of Marketing Vinay Shahani.
Under the hood, the automaker’s familiar 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 returns for 2024. It makes 471 hp (351 kW/477 PS) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque, which help the LC 500 Convertible reach 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
For 2024, the LC 500 Convertible starts at $106,350 ($1,150 destination charge included), an increase of $3,700 over the 2023 model.
