Alfa Romeo’s facelifted 2024 Giulia and Stelvio models are not only prettier to look at but they’re also going to be more affordable than before when they reach U.S. dealerships later this year. With this move, the Italian brand aims to provide a competitive edge against alternatives from BMW. Will this be enough to sway customers to buy something Italian?
According to the order guide data, the 2024 Giulia is set to be available for purchase in the States with a starting price of $44,075, which includes a $1,595 destination charge. This price reflects a reduction of $1,800 compared to the pre-facelift 2023 model, making the sedan $720 more affordable than the entry-level BMW 330i, which starts at $44,795.
As per the report from Cars Direct, all variants of the Giulia will be offered with a $1,800 price reduction, except for the flagship Quadrifoglio model, which maintains its price at $81,355.

Moving on to the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the pricing for the SUV starts at $46,370, indicating a $1,800 reduction from the previous model year. Similar to the Giulia, this price reduction applies to all Stelvio variants except for the Quadrifoglio, which still begins at $87,270.
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio’s closest competitor from BMW is the popular X3. With the new reductions, the X3 now carries a price tag that is $825 higher than the Stelvio. Alfa Romeo spokesperson Nick Cappa provided insights into the rationale behind these price cuts.
“The reduction in pricing is a lifecycle direction for Stelvio and Giulia to enhance market competitiveness,” he said.
Confirmation of these price cuts comes approximately six months after the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio were facelifted for the 2023 model year in Europe and 2024 in the U.S. Key changes to the two models include the fitment of revised headlights with new LED daytime running lights and tweaked grilles. Alterations continue into the cabins of both models and include features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an NFT digital record of the car’s provenance and service history.
