Following their unveiling earlier this month, Ford has launched the configurator for the 2024 Ranger and Ranger Raptor.
Kicking things off is the entry-level Ranger XL, which starts at $32,565 and comes exclusively in a SuperCrew configuration. It’s available in seven different colors and comes standard with an STX Appearance Package, which includes LED headlights, halogen fog lights, a dampened tailgate, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
Moving inside, drivers will find an all-new 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch SYNC 4A infotainment system. They’re joined by cloth bucket front seats, fold-flat rear seats, and a black vinyl floor covering as carpeting is a $145 option. Other highlights include air conditioning, cruise control, and a six-speaker audio system.
Power is provided by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that produces 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. It’s paired to a ten-speed automatic transmission, which can be backed up by an optional all-wheel drive system for an additional $3,645. Customers can also add an electronic locking rear differential for $420.

Moving up the trim ladder is the Ranger XLT, which begins at $35,505 after factoring in a $500 discount. It’s much better equipped than the XL and features an expanded color palette as well as a standard Sport Appearance Package that adds gray accents and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Buyers will also find LED fog lights, power-folding side mirrors, and a 5’ bed with LED lighting as well as a 120V outlet.
Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the truck sports a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital rearview mirror, and a wireless smartphone charger. Customers can also opt for the $945 XLT High Package, which adds a ten-way power driver’s seat, an eight-way power passenger seat, and heated front seats. They’re joined by a larger 12-inch infotainment system, a dual-zone climate control system, and a power-sliding rear window.
Speaking of options, the XLT can be equipped with a $1,560 Technology Package that boasts adaptive cruise control with stop and go. It also includes a 360° camera system, front parking sensors, enhanced active park assist, and GPS navigation.
The four-wheel drive variant starts at $38,990 and can be equipped with an FX4 package for $1,295. It adds an electronic locking differential, skid plates, and off-road tuned shocks. The package also includes meatier tires, an off-road display, Trail Control, and a Terrain Management System.
Buyers looking for more luxury can upgrade to the $43,525 Ranger Lariat, which has fancier LED headlights, a power-sliding rear window, and rain-sensing wipers. The truck also comes equipped with a Sport Appearance Package that has 18-inch aluminum wheels sporting a two-tone finish.
The upgrades continue in the cabin with a heated steering wheel and heated leather front seats with power adjustment. Buyers will also find a push-button ignition, a universal garage door opener, and a 10-speaker B&O premium audio system. The model also comes equipped with a larger 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system.
The Lariat has an assortment of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centering, and speed sign recognition. They’re joined by front parking sensors, GPS navigation, and a 360° camera system. Buyers will also find Enhanced Active Park Assist (2WD) or Active Park Assist 2.0 (4WD).

Sitting at the top of the range is the all-new Ranger Raptor. It starts at $55,365 and boasts a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with 405 hp (302 kW / 411 PS) and 430 lb-ft (582 Nm) of torque. That’s a class-leading output and it easily bests the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.
Besides the almighty engine, the Ranger Raptor sports a full-time four-wheel drive system, front and rear locking differentials, and an off-road focused suspension. They’re joined by 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires.
The interior echoes the Ranger Lariat, but drivers will find more supportive heated leather front seats with Code Orange accents. The model also features a center mark on the steering wheel as well as six upfitter switches on the overhead console.
That’s the Ranger in a nutshell and it will arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer. If you’re not in a rush, you can wait until the fall and get the model with an all-new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that develops 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.
