Soon after the new-age BMW 5-Series and all-electric i5 were presented to the world, a series of images surfaced online showing some of the M Performance Parts that will be available for the new luxury sedan.
These photos were snapped inside the BMW Welt facility in Munich, Germany, and appear to show an i5 M60 xDrive bathed in various new parts. While the car pictured is the all-electric model, it is safe to assume that combustion-powered 5-Series models will be offered with many of the same M Performance Parts.
Alterations start at the front end where BMW has designed a new splitter for the sedan that adds to its aggression without being over-the-top. The faux grille of this particular example is also slightly more menacing than regular i5 models.

Elsewhere, BMW has fitted it with a set of wheels rocking an intricate spoke design with silver and black elements. Complementing these new wheels are extended side skirts with a black finish. One particularly intriguing design detail is the black stripe running down both sides, positioned just above the door handles.
Unfortunately, no photos of the car’s rear end have been snapped at this stage but from what we can tell, it looks to have a small lip spoiler on the decklid as well as a more overt diffuser.
