Station wagons might not be very popular here in the United States today but they’re well-loved in other places. Even here, station wagons have a rich history that many wish wasn’t so far in the past. Today, we want to know which station wagon is the prettiest in history.
Our lead image, the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, is a good example. It’s clearly a part of its family, it features smooth curves, and the entire package, including the rear end, matches well. It’s probably not the winner of today’s question but it demonstrates what we’re looking for here, namely, beauty.
There are lots of stunning wagons that deserve praise for their design, but they’re often more bold and brooding than they are beautiful. Take for example the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon. It’s aggressive, it’s sharp, and it’s fast. Beautiful isn’t typically a word associated with it though.

Another possible modern entry could be the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo 4. It blends sleek styling with outstanding performance and utility. Every oddish angle from the Panamera is gone and all that’s left is a sexy slab of speed. It turns heads for more than the fact that it’s not making any noise.
Finally, we’ll give you a throwback option. The 1962-1969 Volvo P220 Amazon Estate is pretty gorgeous. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but Volvo made it highly practical. The tailgate split in the middle and each one opened opposite of one another. The engine is a simple four-cylinder unit with just under 100 hp. Buyers could select a four-speed stick or a three-speed automatic.
