This is our first detailed taste of the Fisker Ronin, the electric car manufacturer’s forthcoming flagship that could give a number of premium EV brands something to worry about.

Even though Fisker is busy ramping up production of its first production model, the electric Ocean SUV, it is also hard at work developing its entry-level PEAR and the range-topping Ronin. Based on this new teaser image of the Ronin shared to Instagram by none other than Henrik Fisker, it seems that this will be the brand’s most stylish model.

Fisker refers to the car as a grand tourer and last year, Henrik said it would take the form of a four-door convertible. This teaser shows the Ronin with its hardtop closed but we can see shutlines where it will likely split in two before folding into a storage space under the decklid. Then there is the intriguing door configuration.

It looks as though the Ronin will have large doors for front-seat passengers and then small suicide-style doors for those sitting in the rear. So, while it will be a four-door, space in the rear will probably be quite limited, perhaps similar to that of a Mercedes-AMG SL.

A handful of other design details are visible in this teaser. At the rear, we can see the EV has a simple LED lightbar similar to that of the Porsche Taycan. The hood also has two prominent air extractors to aid in cooling and aerodynamics. While this teaser doesn’t show the front of the car, one shared by the company last year revealed it will have a complex LED array for the headlights and bulging front quarter panels.

Fisker is targeting a range of over 600 miles (965 km). The Ronin is expected to feature three electric motors and may be able to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in as little as 2 seconds. It will likely start at a touch below $200,000.
