The Ford Raptor and Jeep Wrangler may be heavyweights in the off-roading segment, but when it comes to getting through impassable terrain, you’ll want a Russian Sherp ATV.

YouTube account ostacruiser (via Jalopnik) bought a Sherp last September and have been using it in the manner it’s supposed to – that is, going off-roading in some grueling locations. Somehow, they managed to get the ‘unstoppable’truck stuck; all it took was some good ol’ Texas clay.

We first caught wind of the Sherp in 2016 and were immediately impressed. We’ve seen some pretty ridiculous off-roaders from Russia before, but the Sherp is in a league of its own.

The Russian truck has 60-inch self-inflating tires that help the machine mount obstacles that are roughly 2.3 feet tall. The rubber also allows the vehicle to swim at speeds of up to 3.7 mph. That’s right, this thing can swim and we’re not talking about doggy paddling. With a skid-steer system, the vehicle can turn on a dime, while it’s 1.5-liter Kubota diesel engine produces enough grunt to get through whatever is in its way.

Well, as the video below shows, it can handle almost everything. Still, despite yielding to that obstacle, the Sherp looks like the ultimate off-roader for roughly $65,000. And if it can’t get through, we doubt anything on four wheels can.
